Our core blockchain technology is based on the  Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism, one of the most energy efficient blockchain algorithms that exist today. Blockpool sidechains are powered by the existing delegate pool and hardware to use existing resources more efficiently.

Carbon-Neutral Datacenters

All Blockpool hosted blockchain nodes are located in datacenters that practice sustainability by running on at least 88% renewable energy. The remaining amount of non-renewable energy is offset through carbon-offsetting programs by the provider.
